INSPIRATION - MIES VAN DER ROHE- BARCELONA CHAIR

Mies van der Rohe, Ludwig
(1886-1969)

Birthplace: Germany

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was the german architect responsible for the Barcelona chair that UNDRCRWN used as a canvas for the UNDRCRWN Chair. The original chair was designed to be placed inside the Barcelonal International exhibition.
It was actually named the Pavillion Chair but became know as the Barcelona Chair because of the actual building it was created for. This was always one of my favorite chairs. It's simplicity and comfort are 2 values that I carry into all of my design.
